Our Story

We are two friends who have known each other since little league. At some point in our late 20’s, we rented a house together because…because well lets be real in Long Island New York if you want an apartment bigger than a shoe box you better be ROLLING IN IT or have a roommate…and that’s when a big problem came to light. What happens when you share a house with someone who doesn’t appreciate the smell of your…erm…activities. What if you are a parent who doesn’t want their children smelling how they relax at night when everyone has gone to bed? Or if you are in a college dorm where you can’t smoke inside? And at the moment, THE ROOK was born.

Based on an old design from one of our college days, a design for an entirely new, patent pending, honey comb style filter that could be used to…who are we kidding you don’t care about this stuff. Look you smoke, you exhale, a little bit of a quick dissipating puff comes out with no smell to it…except a little scenting we added because, ”Hey, may as well make it smell nice in here.” And that’s it. Easy Peasey, Lemon Squeezy.

Being stuck outside in the cold weather or having to “go for a walk” or a “ride” is now a thing of the past. Now, are we saying you should smoke inside if your landlord or RA says its against the rules…OF COURSE NOT. We would we NEVER tell you to break the rules… but what you do with our product is your business.

And I mean hey, a wise man once said, rules…are meant to be broken.
